I have an mm74L in an evo and am considering resetting it to hopefully bring the mag body out a little from the headpipe. When against the full advance screw, it is really close to the headpipe. Maybe I shouldn’t worry about it, but I’m just considering adjusting it out to get it a little further away.
My question I have-is all i have to do is raise the mag body up and rotate the hex socket one flat and lower it back down(reset the timing screws and all that)? Will this get the mag body rotated out from the pipe by doing this? Or do i have to take the mag drive gear off of the cam and rotate it around moving the pin to the other location?
