Well, those were only used on the rear. That is probably the longest running hub design that H-D ever produced, up to the evo era. By the way, the spokes are the same as for the big twin hubs of the same time period.

Cool.. Thank you both.
We were at the Wallneck meet in Springfield Ohio, in the _______ dark. LOL!
A train derailment took the power down. It's at the fairgrounds, and this happened right behind, so there's no power to the whole surrounding area. There's buildings there, the prime spots for vendors. And no power, so we're all using flashlights. People are leaving. It's mild chaos.
And in the midst of this, the Mrs. is shopping wheels for her 45 project and she's not doing so well because of the power situation. The vendors are all pissed.
So, some vendor saw her looking and said she could have all the wire wheels in the pile for thirty bucks before he packed them all back up.
For $30 she just grabbed them and this was in the pile.
The whole thing was a giant mess, because the railroad repair and recovery semi trucks trucks with their equipment are staging in the fairground area during the meet.. Vendors are selling stuff around them. Literally in between them. The traffic lights are all running on generator and have defaulted to flashing 4 way stops. None of the gas stations or restaurants work. Cops everywhere, trying to direct people.
LOL! It's crazy.
But, she got some wheels she liked. So, it was worth it.Comment
