Operating Engineer Local 68. Basically I'm a refrigeration tech that also can fix just about all the mechancical & electrical equipment in the building.

im a glorified secretary now for my wifes business, before i used to work the oil feilds, i actually was a wireliner in the oil feilds used to play with giant pipe bombs to get the damn oil and gas outta the ground pretty cool job till the economy shit the bed now i do what i do and enjoy every slackin minute of it.Comment

I hear ya. I'm a TEAMS Forest Service Archaeologist and pretty much travel for my job 20 days out of the month from June-Nov. riding time has been cut drastically as i live in chilly Minnesota. pays the bills though.Last edited by dannyb; 05-01-2010, 10:35 AM.Comment

I work in sports broadcasting. My title is EIC, or Eingineer in Charge. I operate a 53' semi trailer that is a TV studio on wheels (do not drive it), and put live sports on TV. Just got done with Jazz whooping the Nuggets ass in the first round of NBA playoffs. It sounds glamorous, but it really isn't. I baby sit a bunch of whiny free lancers and fix all the stuff they break. Long days, always work holidays and weekends, on the road a lot. But it is fun, pays good, and the only thing I would rather do is build cars/bikes for a living........
