Long time lurker of the site. ya'll helped inspire me to start riding and build my own. So here she is in all her jank and glory.
Started off with an $800 (non-running but close) buy off craigslist.
Tore it apart and mocked it up with a tank i snagged from a buddy and a crappy seat that wasnt mine.
Thought it looked pretty good so i started chopping and welding stuff with my grandpa, he gave me the rundown on welding, learned a lot from him.
Bought a rear fender off Lowbrow and also decided to convert it to a single carb as all the info i was finding on this bike was that the dual carb was very finicky without the original airbox. this is one of the reasons the previous owner was selling it.
Tryin to figure out how to put this sissybar on, settled on making it come out of the leftover chopped frame.
Been slowly changing out stuff here and there. I think the next thing is gonna be some new handlebars. after I redo some wiring.
Been a really fun bike to learn on, I feel like I'll be able to take on a new project soon! Sorry if this is too "bloggy" just thought id share the process.
