    Hello!
    I just picked up 2.5 Yamaha XS650's two weeks ago. The one is nearly complete and i'll likely leave it alone for the most part. I'll have to get a new seat and some other small bits. The second one with the mag wheels i'll be installing a hardtail kit. The 0.5 one is just an engine in the cradle with a title. We'll see what comes of that..
    I was excited to see how it would look. The bung is not installed and nothing is welded. My plan is finish grinding and removing the existing neck gussets to prepare for welding in the replacements. After everything is cleaned up to my liking on the frame I will reinstall the engine and tack everything in place. Then I'll remove the engine and perform the final welding and install the vertical center tube bung as well.

            More than likely I'll run the mags. No front brake with a rear disc.
