Fuel tank and rear fender are still in the painting.
It looks unfinished, but it's slowly getting ready

The painting of the tank and rear fender is finished, but i have to wait a few days for them to dry because there are many layers of varnish.

While making a girder, the shape/idea of the front light bracket was not yet clear, but now it is ready.

I also started making the chain guard and the material is stainless steel.

The metal surrenders to a new form. The model of the chain guard is ready, but it still needs something.
          Some patterns perhaps, will see.

The dogs barking and the caravan is moving.
So, finally the rest of the parts are painted, but there is still some work to be done (new electrical wiring etc.) before I can test drive the hippie Kawa.

Over the weekend I got the idea to shape the manual gear handle for a new version with a more hippie / rock'n'roll theme.
So, I made a 70's style microphone with a lathe and on the top of the microphone I put an amethyst.
Did you know that its name comes from the ancient Greek words ἀ a- ("not") and μέθυστος methustos ("poisoning"), a reference to the belief that it protects its owner from intoxication; the ancient Greeks wore amethyst and made drinking vessels out of it.
              i.e. no more hangovers

                So.
I made new wiring and installed it inside the frame.
it was quite easy to install.
According to the calculations, there are about 34 working hours left.

                  Ou jee Jerry Cotton...
Finally all the stainless steel parts are polished. It was a hell of a job and because of it my right hand is really shit shape.
Currently, the final assembly of the project is going on and the chopper should be running no later than July 8 at the Joutsa Chopper Show 2023 event (Finland).
                  Let's see how it goes.

                    Jihaaa!
Through difficulties to victory., says an old Finnish proverb.
Friday 7.7 at 8 pm the motorcycle started for the first time since year and half.
Tent and other things on board and towards the competition place, jihaa Joutsa (small town in Finland ) here we come, i.e. the test drive will be carried out on the way.
After midnight we arrived in Joutsa.
After a few beers I had to go to bed because in the morning you have to be in driving condition, i.e. you have to drive a few kilometers from the campsite to the exhibition site (Joutsa Chopper Show).
The next morning, towards the exhibition area in the center of Joutsa (outdoor exhibition).
The day of the exhibition had already progressed to the stage where the prize distribution was about to begin, meaning that the people had voted.
Well, it happened so that I won the first prize in the Chopper class, so not a bad trip at all.

Well, what's next? towards new motorcycle projects of course
