    Dang, old thread haha.

For what it's worth, there's another company that does a dual carb kit specifically for the DOHC CBs. I'll have to find the link but they're pricey, like $600ish for the whole kit. They're made to fit stock frames, and angle inward if I remember right. I came across the kit on google, saw the price and decided I'll just build my own.

Im still on the dual carb quest. Did you end up building your own and if so, how and do you have pictures?

Also, my bike looks a little different since I posted this. The crappy lighting in the pic doesnt do the green any justice at all.

Haven't yet, too much other shit I need to do first. I bought 1.5" copper fittings to make them and I'll be using VM36s.

Here's that kit I came across. Speed Moto is the company that sells them. I cannot vouch for them but if you google them you can see how they angle the carbs inward rather than out like the Cycle X kit. Might make tuning a bitch but some VMs are available with left/right adjustment screws so maybe that's what they use.

I have the cyclex boxer motor and the dual carb setup on a Santee soft tail with chrome oem Triumph slim line tank

Ive had smooth bores 30mms, Cr's 31mm and stock carbs past hot rod setups which all takes time to synch dial in fresh builds run as should, but two carbs less time spent to dial in starts on a dime day or night. Cycle x in the buisness of cb750 why would you ask cb750 fitment on a knucklehead forums where they all dump their motor out side frame splat in the dirt haha
I just bought the dual carbs for my old single cam, from Cycle X. They do also make the set up for the twin cam engines. I'll have the bike together and running this week, hopefully, and give you a report on what happens. I've bought lots of stuff from them over the last four tears, and have always gotten stuff exactly as advertised. They will help you with tuning issues, if any. Ken and his crew are awesome!

I'm running them and very happy, I had one of the original sets Cycle X sold back when he got started. A little messing with the jets, and needle height. I'm running an electronic ignition also and that does seem to help. I still need to tweek them because I'm a little rich, but the bike runs awesome.

Im going to eventually get the CycleX kit I think for my DOHC. They said it will work with my AMEN Hardtail frame and the DOHC motor. I am sick of dealing with the stupid CV carbs. When im going to get it, im not sure. Due to a locked up motor this fall, it might not be in the budget for a bit.Gotta get the motor rebuilt or find a whole new motor. Leaning towards the different motor part.

Different motor makes sense as they are reasonably common and those engines aren't cheap to rebuild. I'd look for a complete donor.

                  Apparently a CB 900 will swap into a 750 chassis. http://www.chopcult.com/forum/showthread.php?t=17184

these twin carb st ups work great on my newly rebuilt cb750 motor on my cb750 chopper. but i know if the engine has worn cylinders which cause different vacuum ratings then they will not work.
