It's exactly what I described, a home built version of the front end used on some 80's racing bikes (including the Britten V1000) and on some recent BMW's (k1200/1300/1600). I put about 5k miles on it, a lot of that riding to work and back, then had electrical problems I haven't yet fixed.
I was already building this when Fury Road was announced, but didn't finish it until a year or so after the release date. I'd LOVE to work on vehicles for one of his new films. I actually took this bike to a huge Mad Max festival held in the CA desert and won :best bike" in their vehicle show. This shot is from the "parade" they had.
What is the name of that festival? I'd love to stop by that next time I visit the coast.Comment

For those who have not seen the build thread, it is so good:
Thread: Hippie Hippie Shake Wäinö Chopper. Kawa Vulcan 800cc.
"...If you can't find a suitable one, then you have to do it yourself"
Moro. I had a hard hippie chopper fever and the only "real cure" for it is to build such a chopper. I bought a suitable Kawa Vulcan (Wäinö) 800cc -96 for it, quite cheap. Kawa was cafe racer style build and really awful to drive. After disassembling the unnecessary parts, it was ready to change shape.Comment
