That tank is cool, home made? Have you seen the wassell style repop fenders with the double rib? It would match the tank ribs perfectly.

            Thanks for the feedback.

The tank is actually a copper milk jug I bought from some dude online just to be different. It houses the battery, a couple of relays and ignition switch.

I actually intended to run a twin rib fender and ordered one. The supplier made a mistake and sent the single instead. After checking out a matching front fender (I need one in Oz), it was clear that only a single rib was available. Despite not showing in the pics above, I do have matching single rib fenders now.

The supplier did come good with a voucher anyhow for the stuff up.

            Cheers

            Steve

                    I'll play.

The "Lil Red" Bike is an 81 GS450L and the 4 cylinder is a 79 GS750. The 450 is pretty much just a hard tail section I made and welded on (no drop cause Nebraska roads are rough) 4.5" stretch, moved the foot pegs forward a few inches, Z bars, stainless steel straight pipes, no added rake, a single shock "pogo" seat, blah blah blah. I know it's a bit small for a bigger guy like myself; but it fuckin pretty quick and I freakin love it!
The 750, I built the frame using the stock neck and the engine mounts, cut out everything else (they have those triple back bones, just plain ugly), an old coffin tank my OL bought me a few years ago, an old Harley king & queen seat, a skinnied up trailer fender, 40 Chevy pick up marker light for a tail light, springer headlight, nothin to fancy cause it was built for traveling. It's a really comfortable riding position, plenty of power and best of all, it's paid for and built by me!
My 2 younger sons on the scoots.

And a few more of the Ol Lady with my scoots.

I know I'm long winded; but I like to talk bikes!

                          My little Suzuki.

                          Current:

With the z bar. Thinking of installing it again and setting up a remote front master cylinder.

                              Here's my piece of crap...

The whole bike is on a remote control (remote ignition, remote lights and remote starter).
