help identifying motor

I think maybe its an early Harley sprint motor? Scrambler because of the pipe? Any thoughts, 250 ? 350cc? Just wondering.

I'd say you're on the money, no way of knowing displacement unless you find some markings or measure the cylinder (maybe? unless the covers are different?). Definitely looks like an Aermacchi to me. not a Minarelli or garelli horizontal

seems like only the really early stuff had an upswept pipe like that
