longer kickstand??

im curious what guys are doing for longer kickstands with longer front ends? running 6 overs and as cool as it looks having a mad gangster lean i find myself always looking back too see if it has fallen over!!

what bike are you running? if you have a jiffy stand ala harley. there are wedges you can put under the jiffy stand mount. if your running a custom jap bike or trump or watever you may have to just cut your kikstand and weld a piece in

that might help haha its a 97 sporty (custom) ive seen a few sporties running 8 overs and they seem t stand fairly straight..

man I'm in the same situation, got 8 overs and have to carry a block with me everywhere I go to place under my kickstand.

not the cleanest, but i cut my kickstand in half, and welded in 4" long section of 3/5 steel rod.

that was what i was thinking but was hoping for some stand off another model or something would solve it... might be the only option

V-Twin sells loner kickstand that will mount right on where your original one is.

I loathe Sporty style sidestands so the two on my FXRs were replaced with classic old-style big twin stands.

Those need a mounting plate which aren't hard to make and can then use Shovel style forwards, or not, as user prefers. You can mount at any angle you wish or use a lowering wedge to turn the stand with respect to its mount plate.

tc bro sells a +1 inch kickstand, i myself am running 8 overs with a stock KS. never once gave it a second thought of fall over or breaking
